The MiG-31 all-weather fighter jets of the Pacific Fleet Air Force scrambled to repel a mock enemy attack with the mass missile strike.

The conventional cruise missiles were launched from the supersonic strategic long-range bomber Tupolev Tu-160.

Crews of MiG-31s timely discovered, tracked and successfully destroyed targets with air-to-air missiles.

Exercise was performed at the Kura training ground, on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
