NATO’s F-16 jets swarm Russia’s Tu-160 bombers over Baltic Sea

COVID-19 may have left the skies over Europe empty, but air forces are still getting clearance for takeoff.

Two strategic missile carriers Tu-160 of the Russian Aerospace Forces completed a planned 8-hour flight over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea.

At certain stages of the route, Russian planes were accompanied by F-18 Finnish Air Force, F-16 Danish Air Force, Poland F-16, Saab JAS 39 Gripen Swedish Air Force.
