Russian aerobatic teams “Russian Knights” and “Swifts” performed a Victory Day rehearsal, carrying, for the first time, 360 degree cameras mounted on the fuselage of three aircraft.
This was the first time ever 360 degree cameras were mounted outside the cockpit.
The nine Mikoyan Mig-29 and Sukhoi Su-30 fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces display teams flew over central Moscow in “Kubinka Diamond” formation.
The actual fly-over scheduled for May 9 was cancelled on the day due to poor weather conditions.
